We are very excited about having our on Mayor,Gow Fields at our next luncheon.Being a sussessful business owner himself he understands the struggles we face. We certainly want to support our Mayor and hear his heart for our city. We want to see poverty broken off our city and God's economy established. Lets partner with the Government mountain in our city.

I sent out an email by Tara Travis, Leading Lady in Marketplace Ministry, titled " Pastors Affirm your Esthers and Joseph".  Mary and I have been very blessed because our Pastors, Steve and Shirley Arnold saw the call for Marketplace Ministry on our lives over 6 yrs. ago and released us to fulfill that call, not released from TLC Family Church but into our calling with much encouragement and counsel and we thank God for it.

 

So what do we do if our Pastors doesn't recognize the call of God on our lives and affirmation never comes?

 

If we are going to see awakening and reformation the business mountain or finance mountain and the religion mountain must learn to flow together.

Topic: Strongholds that prevent us from being prosperous.

Some of the main strongholds I see in the marketplace is mammon, greed, pride and the religious sprit which tells us business people are not as spiritual as people in full time ministry. I believe we are all in full time ministry.

Also another stronghold I see is the Priest have the vision while the Kings have the provision. There's truth in this but we need to be balanced, God has called us to do far more than to finance a building project or take care of the electric bill for our church. He wants to  use us to bring reformation to society outside the four walls, turn our cities  upside down and reach nations.

 

Thought this was interesting.
