KBN Evening Meeting: Mobilizing Into Purpose


Our monthly Thursday evening meeting is upon us. Worship will be led by Kim Johnson. Everett will be bringing us a word about Mobilizing Into Purpose. We know from reading Jeremiah 1:5 that God knew us in our mother's womb. In Jeremiah 29:11, He has plans for our future and gives us hope. (Please read) Then why are we struggling so hard in our jobs and business? Could there be an assignment from hell to stop God's purpose and destiny for our lives? Who's assignment are we aligning with God's or the enemy's?

KBN LUNCHEON

Our next luncheon will be Oct. 13th at Fred’s Market. We will have  Elliott Dorsch candidate for Mayor share his vision for our city. We have already had Gow Fields and Jim Verplanck share with us. We want to come along side our new Mayor and support him. We want to see God’s man become Mayor of our City, and as business men and women we want to help bring City Transformation.

Elliott Dorsch is the Vice President of Finance and Operations of Dorsch Inc., which owns and operates Fun Bike Center Motorsports in Lakeland. Fun Bike Center Motorsports is one of the largest motorcycle dealerships in the country and has received national recognition for its role in revolutionizing the motorcycle industry. Elliott’s ability to negotiate with major lending institutions has earned him numerous industry accolades and a seat on GE Money Bank’s Dealer Advisory Board. 

 

Elliott studied history and foreign languages at Princeton University before beginning his career in the family businesses, which have been active in Lakeland since the early 1990’s and include Fun Bike Center Motorsports, Papa John’s Pizza and MOJO’s Wings, Burgers, and Beer. The Dorsch family businesses currently employ well over 200 people in the City of Lakeland.

 

Elliott supports various charities and community organizations both personally and through his businesses including Shriner’s Hospital for Children, Florida Children’s Homes, Disabled American Veterans, Alzheimer’s Association, Fallen Firefighter Survivors Foundation, Faith Riders, Vulcan Riders Association, Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Lakeland Alive Christian Concert, Fun Bike Trikers, Christian Motorcycle Association, Lakeland Chamber of Commerce, EMERGE Lakeland, Riding with Angels, Lakeland Sail & Power Squadron, US Coast Guard Auxiliary and the Daniel and Cynthia Dorsch Family Fund. He lives in Lakeland with his wife Virginia.
