On May 1st, Christians from all over the greater Lakeland area and all across America will be assembling for a special day of repentance and prayer the—National Day of Prayer. This event unleashes an opportunity for Christians all over the world to seek God in repentance and prayer—

TEN DAYS OF CONSTANT PRAYER:
Millions of Christians will find ways to pray night and day throughout the ten days leading to Pentecost.

In Lakeland: Christians will gather for prayer each of the Ten Days at Churches throughout the city.

The Global Day of Prayer:
On Pentecost Sunday, Christians in almost every country will assemble to pray. Many will gather in small groups in homes. Many will assemble in large stadiums and other large venues. In some places, television, radio and internet will help connect and align our prayers even more.

Ninety Days of Blessing:
As in the first Pentecost, transformed Christians transform their communities as they offer themselves to God as instruments through which their prayers can be answered.
In Lakeland: We are forming or furthering local alliances among pastors, churches, ministries and business leaders, to bring practical, transformational blessing to our communities. For ninety days, you will be given opportunities to link arms with local charities to bless Lakeland.
